DANCERS & ACTORS WANTED
Dancers of Mambo, Salsa On 1 & Salsa On 2, and male and female aspiring actors are being sought for the filming of Part III "La Epoca - The Movements in Salsa."
Note to Dancers:
Filming will be kept to intervals throughout the evening, and it will be selective of dancers who demonstrate the talent sought for the film. Filming will take place in a designated area. All levels of dancers are considered. It is suggested that females wear Ultra-Deep V-neck tops with above-the-knee dresses or skirts that flail with movements and turns - and that if their hair-styling permits - then to wear it down so that also their hair flails with movements and turns; males are encouraged to wear slacks.
Dress code: Smart-Casual.
It is suggested that dancers flaunt their styling and footwork - along with advanced turn-patterns. Producers are particularly interested in capturing dancers who demonstrate a connection with the music being played OR dancers who are well-acquainted with improvisational leg-and-foot shines. Much emphasis will be placed on dancers of Cha-Cha-Cha who demonstrate a close connection with each other. Producers do provide guidance as to what dancing is being sought - there will be direct input from producers regarding what looks best for film. Don't be shy! Dance to have fun!
Note to Actors:
Producers are looking for male & female acting talent for the production of Part III "La Epoca - The Movements in Salsa," and will hold select auditions. Talent must be any age 18 & older, male or female, no height & weight requirements - all welcome. Roles feature drama. Non-union, non-SAG.
A release form is required in order to properly identify each dancer. A release form will be provided for each dancer. ALL persons who enter premises MUST sign release form whether they are filmed or not.

La Epoca - The Movements in Salsa Part III - A Motion Picture Based on a True Story - Acting & Dancing Auditions
On the 18th of February 2012, producers of the international "La Epoca" films series including Part III La Epoca - The Movements in Salsa - A Motion Picture Based on a True Story will be here in Asheville, NC holding acting and dancing auditions. The only requirement is that you are 18 or older. You do not need to speak English. You do not need any prior experience in dancing or acting; there are different levels of roles for the film. If you have never acted on camera before, this is a perfect opportunity to see if you have what it takes. If you already have acting or modeling experience, then this opportunity is perfect for you also as these producers are very well-established in the US and Europe.
Producers will be here in Asheville, NC for two days presenting their works and master-classes on Old-School Mambo & Guaguanco, and Son-Montuno rhythms and dance styling; this is where those dancers who demonstrate what they have learned during the classes, will be filmed. Auditions will be held during their stay here. Share this with all of your friends - this kind of opportunity does not come around too often. This is an exciting time; we encourage you to try.
They are not holding auditions in every city, but only in a select few. This is the only city in North Carolina that such a big movement will be taking place, so do not miss the opportunity to be part of something that will last for generations to come.
